Gentlemen,
Something about the Mongoose MinGoose intrigued me and I ordered the razor today and should have it in a few days. Fingers crossed it's a good one. Actually, I do have good feelings toward this razor and hope they prove right.
I had several Schick injectors and remained ambivalent about them before finally selling them. Although I don't particularly care for heavy razors, these Schicks were just too light for me. The only one left in my shave den is the Schick Type E, which I am thinking of selling.
The Mongoose MinGoose seems to have some weight, but because of its relatively small size, I would assume it is not as heavy as most stainless steel razors. I still think the Feather AS D-2 holds the perfect weight for me for a stainless steel razor. If the weight on the MinGoose is anywhere near that of the Feather AS D-2, I'll be a happy fellow.
Now comes the shave . . . Let's hope for the best.
