Mongoose II

Hello ,
Anyone get the new mongoose 2? Wondering how it compares to the ATT SE1.

I see mongooses going up for sale all over the place. Should I pick one up. Or since I started with SE1 I should not waste my time?

It just started selling at Maggard Razors so I doubt anyone has one yet. Also going to be sold at SRD. I had the AlumiGoose2 and I have the ATT SE. I like the ATT SE slightly better.

I have the Alumigoose. Is that 2?

I didn't like it. Too inefficient in my experience and yet left me with razor bumps. Only used it three times and placed it back in its box.

I don't know about the ATT SE though, some of my buddies here seems to like it. I'm curious about it as well, now that Stan is selling only the head it's even more tempting.

From my understanding the new mongoose 2 is the stainless steel version of the alumigoose 2

Received last night. Very poor quality control. Has chatter mark on baseplate bar. Seller said all are like that. Contacted mongoose and I have to pay to send it to them for a replacement. Very poor quality control and service compared to ATT

That's really too bad and something that should not have made it through QC IMHO. Much less require you to pay shipping cost to exchange.

I have a II in grey that I purchased from Maggard's and it's flawless, a solid shaver.

Wish you good luck getting it sorted.

Must be my luck with mongoose. I bought a handle directly from them and the threads were messed up. Could not screw on any head.

Maggard razor is pulling there stock. Rest of there stock had the chatter mark.
