I think that Scott's Bison tallow base might be the best soap base currently available - it's at the top of the pile with regards to performance in every possible sense. At the very least, it's on par with the other top soap makers.

Personal favourite scent so far is the TSM Fougère collaboration with Chatillon Lux. Close follow-up is Trismegistus, but that's because I'm a Terre D'Hermes fiend. I missed out on the Champs de Lavande collaboration soap, which is a real bummer, because I would've loved to get my hands on that one. Hopefully it makes another appearance down the road.

I just noticed Scott is releasing Darkfall on 10/24. Agarwood is the the first EO listed. Scott's working some magic here!

There are two new comers this past year who I think have a wonderful formula, up to or surpassing the best: L&L and Tallow + Steel.

Incredible performance and great scents. Very impressive out of the gate and definitely interested in following what's next from both.

I got my L&L soap issue sorted out thanks for @"landlgrooming" so I'll probably be using my sonoma valley for my next shave.

I've been very eager to try L&L. Unfortunately, some of the soaps that intrigue me were sold out in no time (e.g. CdL). Hopefully they come back. But I'm definitely going to give Marshland and Harmony a go. Dark fall sounds good too.

I only have the one scent, Sonoma Valley, that is apparently a one-off, but I have to say it sits at the top of my heap, right alongside my B&M Latha. Outstanding soap in all regards.

I just got a sample of Cuir et épices. Boot leather and cherry tobacco. We're back at the rodeo.

As of yesterday I tried Marshlands, Trismegistus, and Fougere at a least a couple of times and can confidently say that these soaps are very good and are officially included in my regular rotation!

I've got Both the Final Frontier and Darkfall combos enroute... I'm stoked to try these.

How did you like the tsm fougere scent?
