That doesn't mean I don't like 921-H. After couple shaves ordered also EH plates and 921-H is in my top 5 DE razors immediately. Just hope that plate will come before winter and first snow..Big Grin

In fact I see that you understood, we weren't talking about the 921 razor... but never mind, we're going off OT
We were talking about customer service and shipping, but there's little you can do with fanboys

I would add, since only BYOR started, orders have been extremely slow, even the work done for Paradigm has greatly extended the deliveries of its razors

I’ve been a Yates customer for a long time. I’ve never waited more than 24 hours for a response to any message I’ve sent to Yates. His BYO queue has 230 orders pending, so I’m sure he’s backed up. And he has gone out of his way on social media and on his YouTube channel to point out that his business is not like Amazon and that customers who can’t wait should shop elsewhere. I’m of the opinion that his razors are most certainly worth the wait.
I won't add anything else... I'm honestly tired, it feels like I'm talking to fanboys
for your information I have a 921 with Hybrid brass plate, plate SS M - H - EH

So because I have an opinion on Yates customer service, and my experience was positive, and I share that opinion here, and because that opinion is at odds with your own, that makes me a “fanboy?” C’mon, man…

My take:

1.) bop  is not a fanboy he expressed his experience with YPM.

2.) YPM tries to communicate and does respond to your emails, etc (also a long time fan, bought one of the first BYOR Ti H plate razors).

3.) Karve is just indifferent to customer service and the customer experience.

The opposite of Love is not Hate, it is Indifference…

1 - Ok, but you have to respect different experiences... both positive and negative,Not everything is gold

2 - Ok, however, we respect that there are cases where there have been no answers. or very late while making posts on Instagram

3 - Behavior that I don't agree with on Karve's part, which has been going on like this for years

You are right

but I repeat, experiences are subjective, some went better, others worse.
for the rest, I'm of little interest... it remains a simple exchange of ideas and points of view Happy2

Watch the video below starting at the 4:40 mark. As I said, he tells people who do not want to wait to look elsewhere. This is a two person operation. They make fantastic razors. If you need something quicker, you can go to Amazon and buy a Merkur.

This is so confusing… Where did this turn into a thread comparing Yates to Karve? You’re welcome to start your first thread about Yates being great, I think you’ll find that they are thought of pretty well here and nobody is asking for any 1-2 person operation like Yates/Karve/Wolfman etc to ship a razor via prime the next day

I had no such intention. Dundee leveled what I thought was an unfair criticism of Yates within this thread. I responded and then he would not let it go.
