Yes, the Daily Shavers Kits were released on Friday. Shipped from Edmonton Monday DHL and arrived Tuesday in New England. I have all the Karve’s (except polished) and have always had a great experience. I’ve waited months to get delivery and as fast as overnight to another country as shown today.

The Aluminum Karve is remarkable. Looking forward to Titanium.

I wanted a stainless #E SB plate for my Karve.
Sent an email to Chris a couple of days ago, and asked if the #E plate was in stock and ready to send.
He says yes, so I 'Added to Cart', and paid for it.
Now comes the wait.
The only service available is DHL Express so it 'should' get to me fairly quickly.
I will be somewhat cranky (tending towards grumpy), if the plate is not in stock, and is still being made.
Feel sorry for all the folks who ordered a polished version. I was so gutted that the polished versions were announced about a week after I bought my 'passivated' stainless...now I'm pleased that I wasn't caught up in that mess.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see when the plate actually leaves Canada (no word on that yet), and then how long before I get my hands on it.

By way of contrast, I ordered a razor from Italian Barber last Friday, 4/3.  UPS took possession of the razor in Concord Ontario on Friday evening, and it reached the US by Monday morning, 4/6.  It is now well on its way from Arkport, NY, where it crossed the border, and due here in Virginia today.

Just seen online (and edited to show better) the brand new titanium prototype from Karve Shaving.

I know, titanium alloy is hard to work ... but this Weishi style handle is ugly IMHO.

Ugh. Looks like widebody cap; doesn’t give me a tingle down there.

What a bunch of crooks ! The polished razors paid for on 11/29/19 still not delivered and he's releasing Ti !

Thanks but no thanks.

Man, the balls on this guy gets bigger each day and it still blows my mind that people are still willing to loan this guy money for his wares!! Looking back in this thread to your email with him on Jan 31st he said it takes 4 hrs just to polish a single razor so that should mean that he has shipped somewhere between 48-96 polished razors so far, yet there are none to be found anywhere except the 1 razor he teased everyone with on social media!! When he is asked on social media about when he plans to ship any he just deflects and brings up the new top cap, handles, bases, Aluminum and Titanium releases instead... I've asked twice on FB and both times my post was deleted!! My personal feeling is there will never be any polished razors ever released because they are too laborious to make and he feels his time is better spent on other projects!!

You said it best Jimmie, what a bunch of crooks!!

I can't agree with how he does business either. He did deliver the product for me for my non-polished Stainless Steel,, but this stuff reeks of a snake oil salesman. Glad I'm happy with what I have. I won't recommend him though to anyone unless he changes, and I don't think he will. Releasing new products when you are backlogged on current items to me is just a direct slap in the consumers' face. For those happy to give him a loan and see if you get your product, good luck, and I don't bemoan you should you wish to purchase. Be mindful your protection from Paypal if you used it is 180 days, which should make it to the tail end of May to early June for you to go that route. I'm sure the credit companies will be more than willing to accommodate you though too. I'll keep an eye on the thread to see if he does change, but frankly I'm not putting my money on it.

Well as things shook out I'm so glad that I got angry, after waiting 3 months, and seeing he had items ... parts, razors in stock and 'add to cart', I changed my order to standard SS.

So within a week, or a bit more, I had the SS razor.

I would like to point out that the only forum I have to 'know' whether anyone has received a polished SS is DFS.

So it is possible that some have gone out. Anyone who frequents more shaving forums may have a better idea than I do.

I'd be tempted by the Ti version if he was a reliable vendor, but it is what it is.

I really don't care for he new top cap design. There's something about the look of the original that I find appealing YMMV  Smile

When you talk about seeking recourse through PayPal or credit card companies.....are you aware of anyone attempting to cancel an order and Karve refusing to issue a refund? I had not heard of their thievery rising to such a blatant level as that, but I’d be interested to know about it if you have.

I canceled two orders with Chris and both times got refunds (Paypal) same day. I guess he doesn't want to mess with Paypal. Why did I cancel? tired of waiting months for him to ship a razor when his site says "add to cart".  I see people complaining on Instagram but Chris (never) replies. So for me its never again.
