Hiya folks!

Someone asked me this question recently and I've had a bit of trouble with it, to be honest. I LOVE perfume. It's hard for me to choose. It would have to be something versatile and inoffensive, but with enough craft to make it unique and beautiful all the same. Though my current favorite perfume is Bogue Profumo Maai (a strange, rich tuberose chypre from Italy), I think that, for a fragrance I could wear for the rest of my life, I land on a tie between Chanel Pour Monsieur (the original Eau de Toilette, not the EdP/Concentrée) and Atelier Orange Sanguine.

Honestly, I think I favor the Orange Sanguine a bit because it's much easier to obtain in the US. Anyway, what's your choice?

Vintage by John Varvatos. When my wife and I were first dating several years ago, I only had that, D&G light blue, CdG red sequoia, and a couple of lucky scent samples (New York, other CdG). She'd only ever notice the Vintage on me. If I'd have her pick, it was always Vintage. When her mom asked her what to get me for Christmas, she noticed my bottle was running low and told her mom to get me a new one.

I love Givenchy Pi - its the only one I've bought that was made by the original.
I could also go with Tabac EdC, easily my favorite classic scent.

My answer currently would be Amouage Jubilation XXV. I first experienced it several months ago when I purchased several decants from a friend. I was trying to find some high quality fragrances I liked without spending a fortune. It happens that both my favorite scent and my wife's were the same and also one of the most expensive of all the ones I sampled.

I recently found a great deal for it on FragranceNet.com and my full 100ml bottle should be arriving today. WaHoo!

Lately, I've been trying to stay away from mainstream scents, not because they are bad, just too overused. That said, this question is impossible for me to answer. I'd use same soap and brush forever if there is a shortage Big Grin, but I can never stay with the same frag. Some of my favorite mainstreams include Lalique Encre Noire, Dior Original, Creed Aventus, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, YSL, Bleu de Chanel.

Man, if it's only one, then it'd have to be something I could be down with EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

So I guess that would be either Azzaro pour Homme or Dior Eau Sauvage.

That is a hard question.

If it were to actually happen, I would probably choose classic Polo, because the Mrs. loves it.

OTOH, in terms of the scent I have worn that I like the best, I think I'd go with Terre d'Hermes.

Another vote for Thierry Mugler A*men
Unique scent. Unusual with the tar note in it.
Wonderful dry-down
