Last night a skunk and one of our dogs weren't practicing social distancing and one of the dogs got sprayed. Naturally it happened right before hitting the sack. So I was occupied late last night with washing him and everything associated with that. He took the washing well, but wasn't terribly impressed with the cat with the white stripe and fuzzy tail. Naturally it was below freezing outside so I had to get the dog into the tub w/o brushing or bumping into anything. To see that dog... he knew he screwed up and that making friends with the strange looking cat wasn't the right move.
Good shooting SS. I'd ask about it but discussing it is a no-no here.
I had a few that I played musical sights with a few months ago. I sighted them in at 50 yards last week. Close enough to be on paper at 100. And one, the one I intend to test for competition this season and I take on walks, will stay sighted in at 50.
For those needing a skunk spray wash the formula is:
1Qt 3% H2O2
1 cup baking soda
1 TBL good quality dish detergent.
Mix them together and use it full strength as a wash. It works great. Of course it gets rinsed off completely.

I have six kids, and schools have been cancelled for the rest of this years. That alone keeps me busy. In spare moments I have found some great deals on eBay, shaved everyday except one over the last month, and I have been having fun again with my fountain pens.
I need to start getting up early and exercising.

I find that I can still get things done, but waiting for USPS to pick things up for shipping takes forever for some companies in the CV19 hot zones. But it manages to get picked up eventually. One part last week took 5 days to get picked up and into the mail system. Much less time to get to me from Alabama. More parts from NM sent UPS were picked up immediately after waiting a few days for the shipping label to be printed. I'm not in a place where CV19 is prevalent so I suppose that's pretty good for where I'm ordering from. Locally I ship in 24 hours and pickup is the same day as long as it's ready by noonish most days (pickup time has varied from 9am to 7PM).
Fingers crossed that a part that's been on order now for 4 years will get shipped soon (from Desert Tech). I have the majority of it and it's working fine, just waiting on the rest, what I really wanted when I placed my "paid up front" order. They're in the SLC Utah area and I have no idea how bad things are there.
