razor up to....how many revolutions from the 1 mark?

I bought the initial release Ti and mine can go around 2 full turns and then to to 3 again, without loosening the handle.  I have used it twice around so roughly a level 10 and it is still smooth, but it is a significant blade gap. I mostly use mine on 5 first pass then 3 for 2nd and third if needed.

A-ha! Stupid me. You're right Mark Shavemd, the handle has to be tuned out to get he extra gap advancement.  I knew I had missed something. Duuuuuhhhh..... Huh

I will look at it later but it opens all the way up just like the 2019,2020 and 2021 Sailors. I use to have a gap measurement chart someone gave me from Home Like when I got my first Taiga.

When y'all talk about loosening the handle while adjusting, are you referring to the knob
at the bottom of the razor, or the midsection. barrel that attaches to the adjuster knob?

Ive been having some conversations with HLS about the spring inside the razor.
I had asked them to send an additional spring but that didn't happen. He however did provide some
useful insight (that I wasn't aware of)...I'll paste it below in case it helps anyone:

"In fact, there are a lot of options, knowing the size of the spring (by measuring it - D10mm, L11mm, Thickness:1mm).

Of course, each working spring has a wear time, but in such a process as shaving it is measured for years I think .
The only thing for which you can buy an additional one is to increase the stiffness and just in case a spare in case
of loss. We believe that the spring is structurally optimal in terms of its stiffness, but we do not prohibit experimenting
with stiffer ones. Gently, without scratching, you can get it out of the razor, for example, with a toothpick Smile"

This is an active link to where such springs can be ordered (hope it works for you):

1 - Loosen the twist knob and install blade.
2 - Undo the handle 1 to 1,5 turns and at the same time made sure that the adjuster knob is still loose-ish
3 - Hold the handle and re-tighten the twist knob.

If you've done everything right, you should be able to overclock it on the fly

(Cracks knuckles)
Here we go!

So.....I think... we are all aware that 99.9% of people only speak up when things go wrong, when things
go right, no one gives it a second thought, and the good vibes are forgotten, in pursuit of the next
new grievance on the horizon.

I myself am currently embroiled in a fiasco of titanic proportions, also known as my Tatara Razor Return.

However, the subject of today's sermon is to give credit where it is due, and a shout-out to Homelike Shaving in
Omsk, Siberia for some GREAT after sales service. Imagine that...great, prompt service from Siberia!

The have a lifetime warranty on the Taiga and I needed their help because one of the semi-precious stones
embedded into my limited edition razor fell off a month ago. Wrote to them, they replied instantly, taking full
responsibility and asked me to send them only the affected part to fix. They instantly refunded me the return shipping.
I must point out that it took less than 10 days for my package to get from S.E.Asia to Siberia, so I have to
laugh when someone says I need to be patient when dealing with the rotten state of the Portuguese Postal
system that is overseeing my return to Tatara Razors (52 days in transit today).

Anyway, don't get testy, Tester. Calm the f&&^ down!

So, the item was sent to the jeweller to be fixed and has now been mailed back to me, with one extra
spring as I requested. The spring has different specs and promises to provide more tension, so I'm
excited to have it as a back-up.

My esteem for Homelike Shaving and the Russian postal system has just shot up by a few hundred notches.
I would buy more stuff from this company even though they are located at the ends of the Earth...because
they offer their word on things...and keep it.

Thank you, guys!

Looks like the Taiga slant adjustable is going into production…

Unfortunately the YouTube video they mention is in Russian, without the (usually not great..) English subtitles, so no idea about details, estimated date when it might become available, etc

Next people will be clamoring for the adjustable slant. I do like the looks of this one.

Edit: Good lord didn't see the adjustable part there. lmao
