good luck with the business!
why not do a DFS pass around with some of your soaps?
Andrew, thank you.
As you can probably guess. I'd certainly be willing to do a passaround if there's enough interest in it.

Thanks in advance and regards!
Yeah, sorry about that. I'll make some more soon if you guys want the Dark Orange scent. It does have to sit a little while before I'll send it out. So figure probably few weeks until it's available.

I think this might be true for all peppermint forward scents. In any case, I am happy with the scent and it provides a nice cooling sensation that is less strong as menthol.(02-07-2020, 12:42 AM)gregcss Wrote: I've been waiting a lavender scented soap and also a peppermint soap since I finished a tub of Mike's peppermint&rosemary. So naturally I had to order Calm. Looking for to giving it a try. Thanks and good luckI decided to limit this buy to two soaps, and I was betwixt and between Calm versus one of the soaps I picked. I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts on it.
I had a rushed but excellent maiden voyage with Evergreen & Cedar this morning. The lather built quickly and easily, even without a preceding test lather. The only thing I would point out is that with my water at least, this soap did not bloom as much as some soaps do. But I went with it when the lather looked and felt right in all other respects - slick, shiny, and viscous but not too viscous.
Fortunately for me, that turned out very well. I left for my morning appointment with a hurried but bloodless DFS, with zero irritation, and with zero need for any post shave skin care. As I write this roughly six hours later, my skin still feels great - like I didn't even shave this morning. That's as good as it gets for me, and it doesn't get that good except with a few artisans.
As I often do, particularly with first shaves, I measured 3.0 grams and bowl lathered with it. Well on the one hand, I didn't have time for touch-ups. But on the other hand, in addition to the bowl remnants, I squeezed a hefty dollop of thick, shiny, and very slick lather out of the bulb when I cleaned the brush.
Well done David! My skin and I give you two

Thank you! I'm really glad that you enjoyed the soap.
Well I got my Citrus Wood and have been dialing it in for the last few days. I like the scent not to strong which I like , I been playing with the water % , it seems to take a lot but makes lots of thick rich lather. When I have the water dialed it's a slick, cushioning smooth shave. The post shave is amazing ,after the first shave i've been washing my face with the leftover lather and my skin feels great for hours .Thanks Dave I think you hit a homerun with this one
