Haircut & Shave N075 SS & Hybrid Al DE Passaround Review – Simply the Best Mild DE

Just purchased a haircut & shave co. N075 mixed metal with the new titanium coated stainless steel top cap and handle. It's going to look so dope! Can't wait. Selling my tatara in favor of it.

I'd be more interested in a full Titanium N075. The full SS coated one is still fairly heavy. The mixed metal version I borrowed was really smooth but I still don't like the handle.

Funny you suggest that, have been begging Aji to do a Ti N075....

I know, dude! I'm going to miss the tatara for sure. Mostly the asthetics and feel in hand but I find the N075 to shave better a bit smoother and considerably more efficient so it takes the cake. I actually found the handle to be comfortable despite being longer then I prefer but I feel you, I'm somewhat mixed on the asthetics. Really stoked the black and gold are gonna look sick together.

Real shame you aren't able to have both. I just love the design and the shave of the Tatara. I do however agree that the N075 is smoother and more efficient v Masamune.

I feel that. The tatara is a uniquely gorgeous razor and feels incredible in hand. Will definitely miss it. Maybe I'll get one again in the future if they make a V2 or a brass or aluminum one or something. Are you going to go for the Ti version?

They talked about other metals but so far nothing... I ask them about a Titanium Tatara on a regular basis. Guess they are busy with the new adjustable design.
Would very likely get the full Ti N075 next year but would need to see it first.

H&S-Lupo/Kai. Anybody else try the Lupo cap? I love the combo.

Hello All. I’ve been looking for an upgrade to my Lupo SS and was wondering if the haircut & shave co might be a good option. I’ve heard that it’s very mild aggression while still being very efficient, and all your testimonials make it sound like a great razor! I’ve tried the masamune (borrowed from a user on here) and really liked it, but it didn’t outperform the lupo SS enough time justify purchasing, so I’m still looking for my next razor.

I’ve never done a pass around and I’m not active on this board, but I was recommended to reach out. Thanks!

If you like mild razors it is the best by far but only using Al baseplate.

The requirements for full DFS membership are pretty low. Look up the activity required and undertake it. Within a week easily you will be a full fledged member
