Do you also know when P076DC will be available?

I will also try a lighter handle. I use mostly vintage that weighs 70g - 80g, so this roughly 120g razor is quite a bit heavier than what I'm used to. That is not a knock on the razor by any means, just a statement of what I've grown accustomed to.

I absolutely love the N075Al !!  It's the only thing enticing me to use anything other than my Vector (thankfully!!  I have hundreds of DE blades to use, hahaha).

Likewise, I tend to like handles that are 85mm or 90mm, not shorter, not longer, depending on head weight, etc.  I use this 85mm SS Stork handle in my N075Al set-up.  I initially assumed I'd want a Ti handle for balance purposes, but this is working really nicely for me.

Thank you for your input Joe. I'm considering Ti for a handle, but after your comment I'll also try a shorter SS handle. Your Stork certainly is a nice looking handle. Have you tried a Ti handle? If you have, what length & approx. weight? How was the balance?

The only Ti handle I currently own was purchased specifically for use with my Vector (a Tradere handle clone also by Stork; ~36g & 92mm, so a little longer than I tend to prefer, but works great w/ the Vector).  It's only 11mm diameter, so a little skinnier than what I would prefer for anything other than the Vector.  Different horses for different course, right?  Anyway, I have meant to try the Ti handle w/ the No75Al, but I keep forgetting to as the SS handle works so well (for me).  I'll give it a try during one of my shaves this week and report back if I note anything of import.

EDIT:  I should also note my Ti Stork handle is almost perfectly matched to the stock Vector SS handle in terms of length and diameter (lighter though, obviously)

Good to hear that the head will be made available separately. The handle on the one I'm borrowing is way too heavy for me, I think maybe this is the original handle? Anyway I don't like the balance with this one. I switched it out for a short CG handle to test out the razor.

Nice smooth and mild shave but I rather prefer a smaller head. I like low profile heads like CG gen 1 or Tatara. Good balance of smoothness and efficiency with excellent support of the blade.

My second shave last night went better than the first, & I was quite pleased with the first. I used a Weber SS Bulldog handle, approximately 11 grams lighter & 1/2" shorter. I liked the length but the balance wasn't ideal. I used a shallow angle & was rewarded with a fabulous shave. It has a ton of audible feedback & a mild amount of blade feel. I'm enjoying this razor immensely. I'll be trying a steep angle next & will be curious to see if that changes the amount of blade feel, feedback, or efficiency.

My last shave with the H&S N075 was the best one yet! I used the Weber Bulldog handle again & it felt more comfortable in my hands, & better balanced. It would take a few shaves with whatever handle I end up putting on the razor to make it comfortable in my hand. Yes, I'm already talking as if I own one. The only thing keeping me from ordering this razor immediately is I want to see what the P076 is like. I'm particularly interested in the Ti as I enjoy mild along with efficiency.

I used a steep angle for this shave & it was just as smooth with a bit less audible feedback. Fourteen hours later & I'm still enjoying a smooth face. If (when) I get this razor I'll continue trying shallow & steep angles, but if I had to choose one right now, I would say a steep angle provided a more comfortable shave without sacrificing efficiency. This is a wonderful razor. My set-up today still had the Nacet blade because that worked so well on my first two shaves I stuck with it. I also stayed with my best soap, Ethos Lavender. Since I had the razor for just a short time, I didn't want to introduce any variable I wasn't familiar with so, unfortunately, I didn't try the soaps that are included.

This has been an eye-opener, thank you DanLaw  for the opportunity to try this wonderful razor. I believe the title of this thread is spot on, "Simply the Best Mild DE". It's wrapped, packaged, & on its way to the next fortunate shaver.

dmshaver  So I used the Ti Tradere-clone handle with my N075Al baseplate this morning....  Balance was great; again, this particular handle has a weight of ~36g (sorry, I no longer have a scale so can't confirm) according to Stork.  My current setup using the SS handle is totally fine, but this morning's shave with the Ti handle has me wanting another Ti handle (with > diameter).

I just don't want to deal with international shipping these days, and Stork is not making Ti handles for the foreseeable future (per conversation I had with them a couple weeks ago) due to raw materials scarcity anyway.  I know TiBam is around, but again, not in the mood to deal with the shipping from Russia.  I'll just happily keep using my SS handle until (hopefully relatively soon) international shipping improves as Ive yet to come across U.S. domestic artisans making stand-alone handles that appeal to me.

Thank you for sharing that information. I think I'll be trying a Ti handle when I get my N075 Al. That puts the weight right in line with what I've grown accustomed to with my vintage razors (roughly 55g - 75g). The weight of the Al baseplate & SS cap is approximately 27g. Adding the Ti handle gives the razor an approximate weight of 63g.

And if I need to wait to order Ti, I can continue using the Weber handle which is about 11g lighter than the H&S handle. And worst-case scenario, I would gladly acclimate myself & use the H&S handle. I'm not going to not use the razor if that were the only handle.

Here are my two H&S setups with Tibam Ti handles. Lupo cap on the SS plate. Both are perfectly balanced.

Made to specification, 80mm. Ones on eBay tend to be longer, 85-90mm as I recall.
