Final thoughts.

Difficult to add too much to my initial review, but I got to use them a second time and I have to say I'm really impressed. I've shaved with the 17-4 and this offers similar level of smoothness with less weight/more control. Balance is superb. I feel like a ninja using it. The finish is just unbelievable and, as I think I said on the 21st, rivals that of Wolfman, who I see as Aji's primary competition. My widest gap on a SS WR1 is the .74. I also have a SS .67 WR1 and a Ti .61 WR1, and have tried the SS .80. All SB except the Ti, which is OC. This is more efficient than all but the .80 (I think they are comparable), and also better than the SS 1.05 WR2 I have tried (arriving again tomorrow!). This is right up there with my current favorite DE razor, still the BBS-1.

I still haven't checked pricing on this, but I'm going to have to grab me the DC. It's just a fantastic razor, and I can't find anything to complain about. My thanks to Dan for organizing this, and to Aji for facilitating.

Razors, soaps and blades are insured and en route to the next recipient.

keto re "So if you used the 17-4 and the titanium how do they compare in your opinion? Are the SB versions about the same or not?"

See my Final Thoughts post from today 6?26 around 6pm EST for a brief comparison.  I find them about the same, and prefer the lightness of the Ti for greater control.

So peeps are getting Ti’s in?  Did you get a shipping notice or did it just arrive?

Or is this still the pass around?  Sorry if I’m derailing the thread, but it’s hard to tell without asking!

I bought it during the release I posted about. Want to get a few shaves in before I post. It is as beautiful as everyone has said. The polishing is as good as my original high polished Wolfman Ti and much better than the recent brush Wolfman Ti at a price less than my recent Wolfman Ti purchase.

3 shaves in with the Ti SB PO76 all with a Polsilver blade and ETHOS soap and AS.
First Shave was with 48 hour beard and last 2 with 24 hour beard growth.
Fit and Finish is best in business currently, it matches my 4 year old high polished Wolfman Ti WR1 and is less expensive than my recent brushed finish Ti WR2.
All 3 shaves were very smooth 2 pass BBS shaves lasting about 14-16 hours, there is some blade feel, enough to know you are clearing the whiskers but not too much to become uncomfortable as a daily driver. The head is compact and easy to maneuver and as with all my Ti razors it gives a nice soft feel during the shave.
I am very happy with everything about this razor, great smooth shave I can easily use as a daily driver, nice and shiny and at a very good price for such a beautiful razor, and it gives a lasting BBS shave. Aji did a fantastic job with this razor.
