Truth of the matter, was jammed today but should have posted immediately irrespective of workload:
Have been a customer, and would like to think friend, of Mo's for years. Not only is he one of the most intellectual of the artisans but also quite creative. As with most intellectuals, he can display perfectionist tendencies that can manifest in delays; delays originating in his deep concern to deliver the best product possible to his customer base.
Admittedly, have been rough on artisans at times over the years, only to regret it because it unfair. One should bear in mind that artisans are generally one man or lightly staffed operations running on reasonable margins. They deserve a different level of expectation than even midsized businesses. What artisans give in return is innovative, crafted and niche products - thank God for these passionate risktakers having a go at their dreams.
I firmly stand with Mo.
