Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

So far I've found the Gillette Silver Blue to be one of my favorite blades.  I also think the Wilkinson Sword blades are nice.

I need to give the GSB another try. Now that I’ve got a few different razors instead of the one, they should yield different/better results...

GSB's are my favorite blade. I also like Voskhod, Personna Red (Israel), Polsilver SI and Feather.

GSB is surely one of my favorite, if not my favorite blade.
Incredible shave everytime and I think I once extended a blade to 7 or 8 shaves. They are just incredible.

GSB x 100 = 2 years of smooth, amazing shaves.

I agree that these are good, solid blades. I seem to get really close, really comfortable shaves every use. I totally disagree with the notion that they are super sharp. Smooth, yes. I put them in the same category as the Astra SP or the 7 o’clock Green Box. Great blade, over priced. I get the same performance from blades that are nearly 50% cheaper.
Edit and update:
After more testing and extended use of a couple of these blades now I have found them to be exceptional. They keep their smooth and sharp edge much longer than just about any other blade I’ve used. I’m on my second week with the same blade; and, I am still getting extremely close and comfortable shaves. I’m now a huge fan. Perhaps my first tests I did not use the blades for their entire life cycle. This would have made me believe that the value for me was just not there. It is now my belief that if one is willing to use the blades for their full useful life, they are possibly the best I’ve tested. I understand this is a drastic change of opinion; but, sometimes in life we experience and learn things that drastically change our opinions. That’s true here for me. Hope this helps.

I usually use GSB's but over the weekend I tried some Astra's - not quite as smooth as the GSB's - I might try some of the other Gillette offerings. I'd like to get a hold of some Nacets but my usually Canadian vendor doesn't have them.

if you are looking at other Gillette blades I found the 7 O'Clock blacks to be quite nice, too.

I mainly use GSBs but lately have been trying out Personna med preps and I might like them a bit better since I feel like I get the same shave but no glue on the blades.

For me, the Gillette Platinum blows the GSBs and all other blades out of the water.
Much smoother than GSB and I get 4 shaves per blade. Very consistent and doesn't bite.
