Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated and I deleted my previous post. Cheers my friend and as mentioned before, I will be sharing my experience with using it next month. Let me know if you have any thoughts or questions. Cheers

Plans for blade testing in my upcoming shaves include Kai, Gillette Rubie Platinum Plus, Gillette Nacet and possibly Timor and Bolzano.

Nice share. The logos don't look so bad with the gray razor color.

I'll watch for sure.

BTW, I love anodized aluminium razors.
I don't care, but scratches are normal.
As on polished SS jewel-like artisanal ones.

The scratches aren't that much of a big deal to me but I did decide to pick up some of the rubber or nylon washers so that I can give a bit more ease on the material on material contact. Like I mentioned, it seems like the handle isn't touching the base plate evenly so the nylon will hopefully alleviate so "stress". If I wasn't aware of the Focus or still didn't have it, I would be happily continuing my early journey with the Carbon razor. I have thoroughly been enjoying the results the last 5 shaves using it but I am looking forward to the first shaves using this razor. I have high hopes Smile

The US dealer seems had some issue.
Maybe It's less forgiving than my R51.

This model too has a sharp angle geometry.
On my R51 It took some time to me to master.
Over this, great razors.

The slim profile of the head on these look great. The slip profile reminds me of the thin cap Old Type. What's the best place to purchase one?

My first thought was "Isn't this razor supposed to be super mild? Will it work with that monstrous lather?" And zaclikestoshave seemed to think the same for a second there.
Any thoughts on the razor? Or are you waiting for more shaves?
