I have limited experience with NO, but I do love Monarch. Great spring / summer scent. The scents notes are all over the place but the big take away is a sweet, powdery scent. It's unique, IMO.

There a lot of love for Two Kings, too. A rose and Oud scent, if I remember correctly?

Finally, I've seen a bit of talk about their barbershop. It's a bit different than many others, and if the reviews are any indicator, in a very positive way.

Im not sure, but I'm leaning towards our Texas chapter ... I think I heard something from MilkCrate or bentheduck ?

Wish I had more info for you. Good luck!

I have all three, and this is the order in which I use them the most.

Orbit is an amazing summer scent with a nice cooling effect.

I have some Nectar Amissa which is a nice all season scent.

Middle to upper level performance I’d venture.

Barbar, that's the barbershop!

Can you talk about the scent? It's.my understanding it's a little different, in a good way?

Thanks.

Clay Face

Nero, a couple years ago I sampled a few of Noble Otter's soaps. Here's what I wrote at the time. I ended up buying Nectar Amissa.

Flying Hide (leather & cedar) "Cowboy Boots" is what my wife calls this soap. Boot leather is the primary note, but it's a boot that's never tromped through a barnyard. With Flying Hide you get the clean smell of boots and saddles before they've been taken off the shelf at the western ranchman's outfitter. A dab of cedar rounds out the scent. Noble Otter's description also mentions tobacco, bay, and bergamot, but they're not prominent.

Lonestar (cedar, leather, flowers, musk) With a name like Lonestar I was expecting to smell the real heart of Texas, and at first that's exactly what I got. The scent opened with lots of wood and leather and other predictable southwestern notes. Then the surprises started coming. As the lather formed the scent took a turn from cedar scrub and live oak and wandered off into wide open fields of flowers made all the more aromatic with a puff of smoke. A very nice touch. But then it really got weird. Lonestar ended on a clean musky note, the sort that you smell in fabric softener or detergent. I'm not really sure what to make of this. What started out as hike through the Hill Country ended up in Ladybird Johnson's laundry room.

Nectar Amissa (spiced potpourri) This smells like a bouquet of dried flowers intertwined with spices, withered juniper, and brittle pine branches. It's certainly unique and I enjoy it from late fall through the cool, dry heart of the winter. The lather comes together quickly and makes a rich emulsion that favors cushion over closeness. The name, Nectar Amissa, is Latin for 'lost nectars’. That hints at the dryness of the fragrance. Though sweet in parts, it's not at all sappy, fresh, or sticky.

Thé Noir & Vanille (black tea, jasmine) This is like sipping sweet tea on a hot summer afternoon while you're rocking on the back porch surrounded by star jasmine. I don't get much vanilla, but the jasmine is authentic down to that slightly skanky, slightly sulfuric side note that's common to many white flowers. It's not off-putting, but it may linger in your brush.

The Trail (conifers, rain, smoke) The soap's basic notes are simple: sweet fir sits on a base of lingering smoke and the promise of a rainy downpour. Combined like this, though, the scent is surprisingly much more than just wet trees and ashes. I get the sensation of enormous space, a feeling like I'm walking down Mt Rainier just below tree line.
