Consider that the number designation stands for the quarter of the year that the razor was produced. When a new quarter started they didn't just throw away unused parts from the previous quarter. They used whatever was in their inventory until it was gone. There are lots of Gillette razors that are a mix of parts along the margins of design and production changes.

That is exactly my understanding of what Gillette's Goodwill razor was when that company was transitioning from their Old Type to the NEW. While not exactly Frankenrazors, the Goodwill was a combination of parts of razors that might no longer be in production so I could see the company doing the same thing with other styles.
