I have a sample of the unscented skin food alcohol splash that I haven’t used yet. I’m sure it’s great but I haven’t put alcohol on my face in years and not sure I want to... I hope they’ll be an alcohol free post shave toner or something similar that can give all the benefits minus the alcohol at some point. Getting along great with the Clean soap though. No problem loading so far since the jar is new and full. We’ll see how it goes as it gets used more and I have to load in a smaller space. That’s probably the only thing I’d change so far is a wider jar as pretty much everyone I use has a ~4” tubs which I’ve Grown accustom to and can use to load till they are empty. The unscented shaving space is in a great place these days and Ethos clean adds to this space very nicely.

Visually the clear jar presents very well and stands out against a wall of other similar containers in the closet. While I don’t bowl lather getting soap to brush and then to face should be far from an issue. I just always try to be objective about the experience.

Hi Marcos
You’ll be happy to know that a non alcohol shear lotion Skin Food post shave product is almost complete. I’ll get you a sample when it’s ready.
As far as the jars size honestly I didn’t want to look like every other shave soap company and the jar and lid combo doesn’t come in a 100mm jar. Mines the same size as the MDC jar. Actually if it were possible I’d be in a glass jar. Using as many natural ingredients the glass offers a more stable environment for the products.
BTW the alcohol content in the Skin Food splash you have is not as high as a lot off regular Aftershaves I’ve used.
Thank you for your feedback!

I absolutely love the new Ethos products. As you can see I have the Succes (Pineapple Noir), but I also have the matching Edt and the Mysore Santal skin food.
First, the feel of all these products feel quality. They don’t feel like cheap ingredients. These products feel like high quality high end skincare products.
Second, the scents are amazing. Frank’s long experience comes through here. The scents are real and don’t smell like a candle shop.
Third, the soap is extremely flexible and works well with a very broad range of water added. It works well across everything from thick to slick (with sheen). It also has great cushion.
Fourth, the post shave feel is amazing. A&E has great post shave feel and Pannacrema Nuavia is amazing in this feat. But Ethos holds its own with everything I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot.
Fifth, the skin food is out of this world. It is great for calming and rehydrating. It feels natural, no greasy feel. It rubs in and disappears, but gives a great feel long after.
These products really hit the sweet spot, covering everything I hold important in my shave experience. Besides Nuavia, this is the first soap to do this for me and is the best skin food I’ve found. I use a lot of products and the only aftershave product I enjoy this much is Proraso Sensitive Aftershave. Ethos is in elite company.

Thank you Sharp_Obsession Jared! For the detailed review and are you enjoying that Diamondback as much as I am? It’s a real smooth yet nicely efficient razor that keeps growing on me with each shave.
BTW awesome photo!
Glad to see you back on the forums!
