Just finished my DG Bandwagon. I've got a new one in the wings, so it will be ready to answer the call when it comes.

Desmond's Barrow Joie de Vetiver Shaving Soap
It is a shame that this brand is no longer being produced. Sad

I have finished 3 tubs of The Body Shop shaving cream, but each one was slightly different.
1. "Mechanics for Men" shaving cream (search engines cannot find any images of it),
2. "Maca Root" shaving cream, and
3. "Maca Root & Aloe" shaving cream. I'd say the current MR&A version is the best, and smells much better than the other two did. "More barbershop than candle shop." I don't think I'll be buying more, unless they change the formula yet again, with a radically different scent, and I buy some out of curiosity.

I've finished and repurchased Proraso Red soap and aftershave, mainly due to the scent. I like the post-feel of the AS, probably from the shea butter it's supposed to contain. I've most recently bought a tube of the cream, to see if I like it better.

Several pucks of Williams Mug. It's useful for experimenting with. The shape of the puck, for instance, (as well as that of Godrej Shaving Rounds) make it most suitable for use in a vintage style scuttle, where you pour the boiling water over the puck and let it drain into the bottom.
It's good in a push-up stick form too.

First Canadian "Barbershop Taper Fade". - a tallow-based soap with a nice bergamot scent. I'm nearly finished with stretching out my second tub of it. They've sold the company to someone else and now it's only available as a cream, so I don't think I'll be getting more. Barrister+Mann's "Seville" is similar, but with a weaker scent.

First Canadian "Bay Rum & Lime" - also a tallow-based soap. I've learned that I do not like "Bay Rum" anything, but the Lime helped me finish the tub. It also turns out that many Lime-scented soaps irritate my skin.

Taylor of Old Bond Street "Mr Taylors" cream - halfway through my 2nd or 3rd tub.

Taylor of Old Bond Street "Eton College" cream - finished the tub, and it was nice enough, but I won't be buying more real soon.

Nivea "Protect & Care Shaving Cream" - useful as an ingredient in cream+soap superlathers. Bland scent by itself, but works nicely when combined with Wilkinson Sword's Soap in the blue tub.

Crabtree & Evelyn "Sienna" shaving cream - finished a tub after finding it in the back of a drawer where it must've languished for years. It had turned into more of a croap by then. Sadly, they stopped making it something like 10 years ago. The plastic tub looks nice (fake walnut burl?) so I'll keep it for some other soap refill puck.

Astra Superior Platinum blades - tried a tuck of 5 from a sampler, then 5 more, then I bought 100.

Shaverboy Super Stainless blades - tried a tuck of 5, then bought 100. Hard not to, when they're as good as Astras or Gillettes and only CAD$7.95 /100, tax and shipping included.

Mennen Skin Bracer - the "comfort food" of aftershaves, inexpensive, and readily available in brick & mortar stores everywhere.

Brut aftershave - finished it, but not interested in buying more.

Old Spice Classic AS - Something possessed me to buy a second bottle after I finished the first one. I don't know why. Madt's not how I remembered it back in the '70s and '80s. Maybe I was a test subject in Project MKUltra. It's not so bad once you get to the base notes.

I had some Gillette Aftershave Balm, but after I finished it I decided that I prefer the "slap" and sting from alcohol splashes.

Caprina Fresh Goat's Milk Soap / Original Formula - SWMBO and I both prefer this bath bar. Buying them six at a time now, and no other kind. It even works as a shave soap, in a pinch.

Desmond's Barrow non-tallow Shaving Soap

This was the very last of my Desmond's Barrow shaving soap and I truly am going to miss the brand.

I’ve never burned through a Fragrance so quickly, but I keep reaching for this one in the heat. So good. Thankfully I’ve got it’s replacement in hand.

This is a great scent.  I really think Shawn outdid himself with La Petite Prairie.

I absolutely agree Freddy, Shawn knocked this one out of the park.
