Awesome idea Dave. Best of both worlds.

Stole it from Fluffy (Ken) We need him here !

My solution is sorta' the opposite. I laid them all out on the floor in alphabetical order, small samples and all.
I then made a list, and each night I refer to it to see which soap to use next. This is to encourage me to use the ones I tended to skip over.
Because there are multiple scents by the same manufacturer, I went by the name of that particular scent where possible. That way I wouldn't end up with, say, a week of TOBS.

Some of these are four years old. The C&E Sienna is something like 15-20 years old.

(Ignore the fact that the Omega in the transparent green tub is way out of order., and the six Fendrihan sample jars are all bunched together.)
No more shopping until at least one row (not the bottom one) is gone. Angel
Yeah, right.  Dodgy

Nice idea and goal. I enjoy variety but also being able to chose daily what I am in the mood for. Had 4 shelves full of soap and pif'd, traded and sold till I'm finally down to 2 shelves that feel more manageable. Most all shown here except samples and some vintage Williams and Colgate pucks. Had 125 soaps and now at around 50 so I've made good progress and am in good shape for a 1508.5 and first victim to be the go to every other day will be Hook. Time to organize and bring some aftershave or frags back to the bottom 2 shelves that are in the spare room.

Honestly, I thought I had one more use of the Lavender Pour Homme but nothing came out Sad

Thankfully, Fine is having a 20% Flash Sale and I was able to pick up new bottle....along with a couple others Smile

OK, so I seem to have acquired 200+ soaps and creams over the past 6 years of traditional shaving. I know, because my sweet, young, and lovely took inventory "for me" during our last move.

There, that should make you feel better!  Cool

Im at somewhere around 180+. I like variety but sometimes i think about bringing the number down because i use each soap maybe 2 times a year.

My wife lets me know how much i have also. I just point to her shoes. Lol
