Ah, I ordered mine and it shipped the next day, so I know he has some inventory around.

He needs to specify whether the razors are for immediate shipment or not.

Seems like you can buy one right now from the website. When did Ron say they were custom order only?

Was on the site when it said they were transitioning from drops to custom orders ( 2-3week wait) but I guess his producing them outpaced sales and he has ones ready to ship. Just what I read on the site at one point.

Most razors are shipping in a day or two.  A friend just ordered one Thursday and it’s shipping today.

Here are a few pics of the head next to a WR1 and a 2020 Diamondback. The WR1 is still the king of thin, nothing I have found is thinner.  On a side note, look at the lather channels in the last pic.  Really huge, nothing clogs.

Really a great razor for some blade feel and efficiency.

Here is what my friend had from Ron on the Ti:

He affirmed that they use grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) titanium in their razors. This is a higher grade ALLOY used on Aerospace other high end razors and bicycles.

Great pics Mike. I’ve had the 2020 Diamondback (but not the WR1) and really think the CF Legacy is its equal if not better in terms of smoothness and efficiency.

Ron provides great customer service. When I ordered mine, he emailed me to say he was out of Imperial handles but making new ones which would result in a delay of 2 or 3 days in shipping. But the wait was not very long.

Ron also told me via email that he based the Legacy on his favorite razors (Weber PH and Gillette flat-bottom tech) and tweaked it a bit to fit his usage with epoxy resin 3d-printed prototypes. I think the result was fantastic. Despite the somewhat large blade gap (1.12 mm), it is smooth and even feels mild but it is efficient. You do have to ride the cap somewhat to use this razor, but I don’t have a problem with that.

I’m a big fan, and the Legacy is one of my top five razors (the order of which changes from day to day)

Anyone used the CF Ti and a Wolfman?
Im interested in knowing what WR1 or WR2 gap you would peg this CR razor
gap to...in terms of its performance.

Ah, yep, I know Calm_Shaver and myself have.

And I know a few more who have that aren’t on this post.

For me, not as efficient at a WR1 but far less blade feel.  I would say, there is no comparing as the WR1 has far more blade exposure.

Now, for me, it shaves much better than my WR2 1.25 did. More maneuverable (thinner head), equally or better efficiency, slightly more presence of the blade, but never menacing blade feel.  It’s just a different shave, closer to Paradigm than Wolfman overall from shave characteristics. I guess it’s a hybrid between a WR1 and WR2 for me. It’s medium efficiency, mild blade feel, high gap. It is something rather special in my opinion.

Musical thank you for the great insight Cully!  Was wondering how you felt it compared to your WR2?

Thanks guys!

Mike
