Charcoal goods razor opinions

I was surprised and am actually pretty happy with a Lv2 SB. Have not tried the others, though I am definitely curious and might give one of their OC a try!

You'll have to get a used one. He is not making OC anymore. At least not in the foreseeable future. Not sure if he will eventually offer the OC again.

Why do you see quite a few CG razors for sale? There good looking razor.

They're not only a 'good looking razor', they are great shavers IME. I guess guys try them and find they are not their cup of tea. Or they want to try something else and sell one thing to help finance another.

I asked and he is going to make OCs again sometime next year. Fortunately, I was able to get one off of the BST on another forum and it should arrive tomorrow. I prefer OCs and I really like my level 2 SB, so I have high hopes for the OC.

My first CG was an OC Lv 3, bought from a forum member. Great shaver. Next was a Lv 2 SB directly from Brian. Decent, but not aggressive enough for me. Then scored a Lv3 SB, great shave, and finally, a Lv 2 OC. I had a hunch the Lv 2 OC would outdo the 2 SB, and it truly does. I could get along with that alone if I had to (perish the thought) These are all brass BTW.

That's good to know. I was hoping the level 2 OC would be a little more efficient.

Nothing wrong with CG razors at all...specially the Level 2.
I put mine up for sale because Im currently using a fairly
high gap WR1 and WR2 and nothing else. I've just cleared out 10-12
excellent vintage razors and don't wan't to go back to hoarding again.
I claim some space, the buyer gets a good deal...win, win.

Just picked up my 3rd level 2 solid bar lol.

I love these things. best razor on the market for my taste & glad to pick one up in stainless too.

I’m glad I got my lvl 2 OC a couple of months ago then. Very nice razors, both stylish and great performers. The lvl 3 sb was not nearly as scary as I thought it was going to be.
