I had my first shave with the L3 last night and it was good. Certainly an aggressive razor but I had no issues and skin felt great even after apply alcohol+menthol based aftershave splash. I went ahead and ordered the L2 plate before they go out of stock so I can give that a try and compare.
I own a level 3 and it's very definitely a 'special occasion' razor when I want to do the whole battery of things (pre-shave, get one of my very best soaps, alum, witch hazel, post shave and balm) whereas lvl 2 is a braindead razor for daily driving and the 95 for me is more like, one or two days a week in a rotation of a little bit less present razors.

When my whiskers are sufficiently restored, and I'm over experimenting with my newly acquired Wolfman WR2, I'm going to try a longer handle on the Lv2 SB, and see if the increased leverage doesn't enhance the aggressiveness. With the standard 3" handle it is a mild shaver in my hand. YMMV.(07-26-2019, 04:10 AM)trashcanmagic Wrote: I think there's actually a pretty noticeable step between LVL 2 > Timeless 95 > LVL 3Thanks for sharing. I can’t find anything for the magnum handle and I don’t want to drill out a Timeless stand yet to make it fit.Brian made stands for awhile but I believe they are on the back burner till he catches up with demand on his new version razors.
