Blade Banks

I like using a sour cream tub with the lid taped down with a slit in the lid, and yes I am blind; just so if anyone was wondering.

Baby is starting on baby food... so soon I will have a bunch of nice, small, glass bottles, that will fit nicely in the medicine cabinet, in which to store spent blades.

Me, too.

Beef broth can. Cut a slit in the top, pour out the broth, rinse it out through the slit 6-7 times, and start dropping blades in.

Me too, I actually got one of these a couple of years ago and it's still not filled up.

Flea markets are a great place to find containers that can be used for blade banks.
Lots of antique metal containers of all kinds that are in good enough shape and priced cheaply.
You never know what you might run into.

I use an Altoids tin myself. Nice size- not too big.

I use plastic rubbing alcohol bottle with a slit cut in the side up by the top. unscrew the cap and I can drop in my dull used Sensor, and MR3 Neo carts. It'll take years to fill it up and then it'll get disposed of at a medical office.

I guess while I'm here I'll post a relevant response. I too made one out of a can of chicken broth. I saw a how-to thread over on *cough*B&B*cough*. I haven't gotten around to decorating it yet though. I'm digging the blade wrapper idea though. I just might have to steal that one!

I've used a Star Trek blade bank for quite a while.
