Today I shaved one side of my face with the MMOC and the other with the Sabre L2 short summation for me,Sabre was smoother and easier to maneuver, MMOC was slightly more efficient but it gave me a good nick. The Sabre let me do faster carefree strokes and the MMOC more attention to detail was needed, the Sabre needed about 10 stroke touch up to equal the BBS of the MMOC. 10 hours later both sides are still very smooth with no difference between the 2. Love both razors but the Sabre L2 easily is one of my top 5regular drivers as it is smooth, efficient and easy

This is helpful because I often get asked to compare the Sabre to the MMOC. Thank you!

It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...

Just doesn't get any better. The Sabre & L2 is a perfect match made in shaving heaven. You'd be hard pressed to find a razor with this good of efficiency and smoothness regardless of razor and blade format. Just a pure joy to use....

I had my first shave with the Sabre. This is a an amazing razor. Super efficient and smooth. I wasn't sure about the weight at first, but the razor basically lead it self through the shave. The head is wonderfully compact!

I thought it might be time to remind ourselves just how awesome amazing the Sabre L2 razor is. LOL.
Only razor I've use since buying it sometime in Sep/Oct timeframe or whenever they first came out. I can't see myself going back to a DE. I have some nice DE heads that I'd like to sell at some point.

I sure do agree.

I bought the level two Plate but thought it was too aggressive based on my first couple of shaves. So I set it aside. After a month and a half or so I tried it again. I'm not sure why, but all of a sudden it feels amazing.

I get the best shave From the level 2. The only problem is I have nothing to shave the next day. LOL

The level 2 plate is like an entirely different razor from the level 1 plate.

And I'm getting about 10 shaves per blade. Which is amazingly cost-effective.

I’m at around 15-20 shaves with my gem blade in this razor and at this point, I’m afraid to take it out. Still shaving like a champ

I go back and forth between my Sabre and blackbird. Both super efficient and comfortable. Blackland has created some amazing shaving tools. Blackbird with feathers is almost perfect.

Glad you guys are still digging the Sabre! We’ll have polished L2s and stands in stock in a few weeks.

I really want to pull the trigger on one, but I’m curious to know how to compares to the OBv1 with a gem. I’ll admit my technique sucks since coming from carts a few years ago and the OB is effortless with the Gem. Has anyone tried both and can compare especially with the OB V1 with a de-spined GEM?
