Shane, is it true that the L2 plates are being completed today and should be ready for sale by next week? And the inkwell stand also?

True on both counts. Of course, it's always an approximate date until I have the product in hand.

I really like that stand. Nice job.

After some minor delays, the Level Two Sabre is nearly here. Those who love the smoothness and ease of use of the Sabre, but wished for a bit more efficiency will find the Level Two base plate to be a welcome addition to the den.

What did we change?

To sufficiently bump up the aggressiveness we did two things. First we increased the blade gap from 0.6mm to 0.9mm. Then we shortened the safety bar to increase the blade feel and exposure. These two changes work together to create an efficient razor with a bit of blade feel while still maintaining the smoothness and ease of use that makes the Sabre such a phenomenal platform.

Production is scheduled to be fully completed on Monday. With some luck we’ll have these available next weekend. The Level Two base plates will be available both individually as well as part of an assembled Sabre.

Can't wait to get my hands on one. Are you releasing both the stand and L2 plate potentially next weekend?

Yes. I have the stands, but I'm holding them until the L2 is in stock to keep things simpler for everyone.

I'm in on both L2 and stand. The Sabre is going to get even better and it's already a great shaver.

Did the blade stops get rounded off slightly so they don't scratch?

Yes. The edge has been taken off the guards so they are less sharp. Smile
