Blackland Adjustable: Osprey

Shane, I’ll be honest. With the collection I have, nothing has excited me over the past couple years from an innovation standpoint except the Home Like Shaving Taiga Slant but who knows when or if we will EVER be able to get that one because it is coming out of Russia. I also love the design of the Tatara Muramasa Adjustable but it’s not aggressive enough and the handle is too short. This new adjustable actually has me drooling as I watch your videos!

What about the Rex Konsul slant that's already been out for a year?

I have it and have been very underwhelmed by it! I have the Rhodium plated XL and might put it up on the BST very soon. Even on the highest setting, it does nothing for me.

That's weird. I don't see how that's possible for it to not cut at the highest setting unless I misunderstand you. What about the Ambassador

I’ve gotten the worst cuts / nicks from the Ambassador and the Konsul.  They were both on loan.  Found them both to be very unforgiving.

Agree - well mostly...
The Sailors, except for maybe the 2020 version don't cater for those that prefer a milder razor.

The Taiga starts at mild and can be opened so that it's aggressive. It has a bigger range because they have let us open it up.
I'm hoping Blackland does the same.

Did I hear in the second video that it will have an o-ring? I hope it will be user replaceable.

Yeah, me too. I think you meant the 2019 Sailor being the most aggressive. The 2020 is like a massive hammer but is pretty mild at its lowest setting. The 2019 is pretty aggressive from its lowest setting on up.
