I've always considered "no user-serviceable parts inside" to be a euphemism for "f* around and find out". Granted, the item in question may not be usable afterward, but at least I'll learn something! Just kidding - sort of ....  Big Grin

No it’s not. But it’s also not a vital component so if the o-ring fails in ten years and you don’t want us to service it (or if we all die), you’ll still be able to shave.

Great update Shane. Thanks. I’m not sure if you’ve covered this and I’ve missed it but will there be a hard detent/stop at each setting on the adjustment dial or will it be “infinitely” adjustable permitting say for example, setting 4.5?

Hard stops for max/min. Infinite in between.
