if only it wasn't SO expensive!
Maybe someone should dupe it, I mean do an homage to it!!
Can you do an homage if it isn't gone yet?

You know what, I've gone back and forth on bay rum over the years mostly being one of the haters, but recently I've turned a corner on it. I just used my sample of No. 9 yesterday. It's pretty good albeit very short lived. I've really been enjoying my Chiseled Face Bay Rum EdP and a sample of their Santa Monica Bay Rum aftershave lately. I just got a Mike's Natural Soaps Bay Rum in the mail yesterday too. It smells great and I'm excited to give it a go.

I have similar feelings about true bay rums....but.....they make excellent "fortifiers" (dilluters?) for gourmand scented after shaves e.g. spicy or sweet. They also make great after bath splashes.

It smells really good and Mike's is a stellar soap so I'm happy to add it to my collection.
