Why not just produce and sell more? It’s not my business, so it’s not my decision, but if I’m going to go through the effort to design something, I would want to sell more than 18.
Hello, normally the intended production was 50pcs for the TR-3. Due to the polisher’s mistake the rest became junk.
Polishing is the bottleneck of the production. After i receive the parts, i passed a final finish myself.
I am afraid i wont offer polished items anymore after all the razors sell out.
About the price, it has a couple of variables such as inflation, material costs, workmanship etc. I guess the “old days” you meant was really old if i am not mistaken 2016 or 2017.

That’s very unfortunate, Hasan, but at least you caught the problem and had 18 razors you were happy with. It will make them even more precious to those who were fortunate enough to get one. And from what I’ve seen the reviews are very positive.
It sounds like you plan to make more TR-3s and TR-2s, but with machined, brushed, or blasted finish. Is that right? Would be interesting to hear what your next plans are.

Correct, i am planning to make more but still havent decided about the finish. I currently dont know what my options are around me. Soon i will visit the machining shop and will make a test run for tumbling and sandblasting. I am considering the machined finish too (the only thing i am worried is the machining marks may be too deep, thats not what i want to see)
A batch of titanium TR2s is being machined (you heard this first), i am still unsure about the finish.

Absolutely correct, not only the steel tariffs but also the price of the drill bits or tools, every time i contact with the machining shop the quotations rise up.
Above all, producing it in small quantities makes it worse, the shops are either reject the job or ask more money to accept.
