That's what I had heard. But that is really awesome that he offered to accommodate a different handle for you ahead of time!

I sent Stan a message last night and he replied first thing this morning. He said that the first batch sold out and those should ship around the end of May. The pre-order is now extended into the middle of June.(Next batch I'm guessing.) I hope that helps anybody who was curious. I know I was curious and it was great of Stan to respond so quickly!

I'm really looking forward to this razor!

Great! That means that some will be in thr field within a couple of weeks and more reviews will be rapidly forthcoming.

If the inherent qualities of the SE system are buttressed by ATT's build quality, sales model and production capability, he could own the "high end" SE market soon!

Based on comments in this thread, I email Stan regarding replacing the Bamboo handle with the Kronos. In no time he informed me that he'd be happy to make the switch. It can't be said enough, but ATT is truly a class act!

I would say that you are spot on, beamon.  This is my first ATT, but with the customer service experience with Stan and reputation for quality, I'm very stoked about the arrival of this premium SE razor.

I agree, daverasi.

Honestly, when I read the post by Chimay  about pre-orders shipping about mid-June, I kind of thought, "Oh, boy, here we go...."  I've had some experience with postponed shipments of new products from other manufacturers, so I guess this is normal.  But, then Stan emailed me the very next morning to reassure me that he felt that the first batch was still on schedule.  Outstanding!  Top notch Customer Service!  Stan of ATT gets it!

For those of you who have used it, how would you say it compares to a Wolfman razor in terms of aggressiveness and efficiency? If you don't own a Wolfman how about compared to the S1? I know it's comparing a DE to an SE but I don't own an other SEs at the moment.

I'm not aware of any reviews on it other than Chris Bailey's (TSE) on YouTube. He received a review razor prior to it being generally available.

I expect the reviews will be stellar. ATT workmanship speaks for itself. And the fact that the razor takes Feather Artist Club blades is going to be a plus. When I read that the ATT SE will take AC blades, I bought some to try them out. Since I didn't have a razor to use them with, I impulsively went with the Feather Japanese shavette. Almost three weeks and a couple of pints of blood later, I can attest that these blades are not only sharp, but also smooth. I bet the match with the ATT SE will be made in heaven.
