I would like an option for the thread creator to be able to edit, or add comments, to locked threads in case items available change or new things might be added. Seems I screwed up with my thread and there's no way to fix it unless I delete and repost.

if you're trying to reply on tapatalk, that's likely the issue as tapatalk doesn't always take too kindly to custom code written for use directly on the website from a desktop/laptop/mobile phone (not using tapatalk).
