I think the R41 is a no-brainer. You can pickup the head without a handle from Maggard for about $25. I’ve never cared much for the Muhle handle anyway. A wonderfully efficient and smooth razor. Another very efficient razor that you don’t hear a lot about is the Timeless Bronze .78 OC. A very unique and one of the most beautiful razors out there. This one really surprised me.
The other one is the Ikon Tech

Thanks
The Mühle R41, because it doesn't have a blade vice, is the one that is most likely to nick you.
All the others mentioned, by you and by others, have a blade vice (some better than others).
But on the Mühle R41, the only thing securing the blade to the topcap are the two high points
at the center of the baseplate and nothing more. So the blade flexes and chatters and nicks you.

Personally, out of those three would choose the Lupo 127. I don’t have it yet, but I have a Lupo 95 OC that I love and I also picked up the game Changer 1.05-P that is really nice. I do tend to reach for my Lupo more. Razorock is also known for these razors being very comfortable, yet efficient shavers. Plus, you can get the whole razor for $69.99 USD (plus a nice selection of handles to choose from) and free shipping from Razorock or italianbarber.com. You will be well under your financial goal and you’ll get a fully CNC machined razor made from 316 L marine grade stainless steel. And that’s my nickels worth of free advice!
