Aggressive Razor Comparison

Looking for an aggressive/efficient razor. Want to keep it under $150. Boiled it down to R41, Guerrilla Aluminum.99, and the Lupo 1.27. I appreciate any suggestions.

Yaqi has three aggressive heads, Agamemnon, Beast and Knight Helmet heads. These are way aggressive than R41, and they have very affordable prices.

I think the R41 is a no-brainer. You can pickup the head without a handle from Maggard for about $25. I’ve never cared much for the Muhle handle anyway. A wonderfully efficient and smooth razor. Another very efficient razor that you don’t hear a lot about is the Timeless Bronze .78 OC. A very unique and one of the most beautiful razors out there. This one really surprised me.

Try to find the 2011 R41 if you go that route.

I'll second the iKon Tek. I actually used one for the first time today and it is very efficient with lots of blade feel, but not nearly as harsh or bitey feeling as the R41. It holds the blade rigidly so you don't get any chatter.

The Mühle R41, because it doesn't have a blade vice, is the one that is most likely to nick you.  
All the others mentioned, by you and by others, have a blade vice (some better than others).  
But on the Mühle R41, the only thing securing the blade to the topcap are the two high points 
at the center of the baseplate and nothing more.  So the blade flexes and chatters and nicks you.

Personally, out of those three would choose the Lupo 127. I don’t have it yet, but I have a Lupo 95 OC that I love and I also picked up the game Changer 1.05-P that is really nice.
