Sisley has some fantastic products.

I have sensitive skin and respond better to oil-based balms/after-shave, and enjoyed some prickly pear seed oils (Marisa Berenson's huile fabuleuse and Christophe Robin's PPS spray). I just tried Sebum Gold, which was really excellent and quickly near the top for me.

I've been very happy with Mysterium Serum by Phoenix.
2nd would be Taconic Aftershave Balm... this was my favorite until I found Mysterium Serum.
3rd any balm by Stirling Soaps is top.

L'Occitane Cade was my absolute favorite. However if you go on the site there are a lot of bad reviews since the re-formulation so I can't speak to that.

For those that love ABC, there seems to be a lot of bubbles in the bottle that makes me think its more a watery lotion than it is a balm. Can someone speak to its consistency? Also, what does it smell like? Does it actually smell like apricot?

Cutty, my ABC has no bubbles, and is definitely a light balm. Spreads very easily. It does not smell like apricot. It has almost no aroma - slightly clean - maybe a very slight hint of menthol. I do not like heavily scented balms. This one hits all of the marks. Great density.

Great! Thanks. Maybe the camera was play tricks with my eyes! I always wanted to try the stuff. Just never got around to figuring out if it was worth it. Thanks again.

ABC worth every penny if one wants a balm. These days only use it on rare Winter days. Find a combination of ETHOS Skin Food and Replenish more than sufficient. Add ABC balm if it particularly nasty out

Wow, it looks like this is another vote for ABC. I love balm all year around!

Best to order ABC direct from the shop in Milan. US vendors are too expensive.

Alright...

You have piqued my curiosity about ABC.

What is the difference among the balms?

Is the Apricot Hull significantly better than the cheaper alternatives?
