Just got the 921 H (plate) in yesterday. Waiting for the handle as I initially just ordered the head. Great first shave. The combination of 1.02 gap and positive blade exposure really lets this razor shine. The build quality is outstanding. Perfect blade alignment and the end tabs cover the blade.

I used the H plate the day before yesterday. Wonderful 2.5 pass shave with a BBS result. It was my first time using a shorter handle with this head and it was loads more comfortable in my hand. Thanks again Jake for new top cap!
First stand coming with places to store multiple guards - almost as cool as the leather Spaceman case.

That may be the razor coolest single razor stand I have ever seen, and makes so much sense given the plate options. Wonder why other razor makers that have switchable plates haven't done this!
I think Brian of Charcoal Goods was playing around with a stand that held the razor and a couple of plates. I am not sure if it was ever released in a metal or if it was a 3D printed plastic. I also may have seen a 3D printed razor plus guards stand on an Etzy store some time ago. Nevertheless this Yates stainless stand makes so much sense especially combined with the excellent hybrid and high gap plates. If you think Jake's razor is as good as I do then go ahead and get his leather Spaceman travel case to spoil yourself.

Absolutely! Wondering whether the M plate would be enough. Seems most people here are in favor of the H plate.

I like slender handled razors.
BUT, I don't know this YPM.
It looks very thin to me ...
AND no weight specs on site.
I'd like to know details about:
• Head weight
• Handle weight
• Balance
