Look that nice compared to other stainless steel options available. The thin, long handle honestly is the biggest turn off. Are there plans for other handle designs?
I mentioned the same thing to him and he said he will make more handles.

Jake has said he plans on making more handles. Now that the threading is 10x32 my Charcoal Goods handle works perfectly. The shave is extremely smooth using any of the three base plates

Great, thank you. I much prefer a shorter, thicker handle.

I too have mentioned different handles to Jake and he is very receptive to new ideas. I told him I felt there was room in his H plate to increase the gap because it is still so smooth and he said he was going to do it.

I got a great head shave from the H plate the other night with no irritation, cuts, nicks etc.

Hi All! First off, thanks for welcoming me into this awesome community. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm having fun along the way, and I'll continue to get better. I just wanted to reach out here and introduce myself, and I'll try to follow along and chime in on DFS as much as possible. I have to wear quite a few different hats having a full-time job, running YPM, and being a dad to 1 and 3 year old boys, so time is short as you can imagine! I always respond to emails, so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch at jyates@yatesprecision.com. We do have different handles on the way, but in the interim, we just threw up some of our caps and plates on the website. The caps have a 10-32 thread and should be compatible with most handles; I know some guys are using Charcoal handles on them. Thanks again, and I look forward to interacting with everyone!

Jake, YatesPrecision Welcome to DFS! You alredy know I am a big fan of your razor with all 3 baseplates.  The brass hybrid is my favorite.  New Handle will be fantastic, but all my Charcoal Goods handles fit perfectly with your new top cap. So if any of you guys wondering, pick up a top cap and baseplate and enjoy the very smooth yet efficient shave.

Glad to see you made it here, Jake YatesPrecision.
I completely agree with Shavemd and also favor the brass hybrid plate. I’m looking forward to receiving a 10-32 top cap and am sure it will make the use of the 921 even more enjoyable for me.

FloridaCreekIndian I'm so glad that commercial came out. I pretty much had to stop wearing khakis to work after that lol
