I have a bottle of De Atramentis Mandragora, the smell like wet earth and it is very strong. When I write with the smell will linger on the page a bit.

Very nice pen. ML has a Kaweco Sport and likes it. Yours looks a little more elegant than the name "Sport" implies.

I have De Atramentis scented Sour Apple ink. The scent is spot on but faint. When I purchased it I had hopes the letter recipient would be able to smell it but alas that is not the case.

My wife and I had sore throats recently. We still find a Popsicle to offer relief from the scratchy pain.

This batch of Popsicles had jokes printed on them. I thought the pen community would enjoy this one.

What is a propelling pencil?

Precursor to jet pencils?

As mentioned elsewhere, I had the opportunity to visit Anderson Pens in Appleton, Wisconsin last week and I am afraid I didn't show much self control. Sad

Sheaffer Red Ink and Robert Oster Melon Tea Ink
For me, Sheaffer Red remains the truest red ink that I have come across and I always keep some on hand.

The beautiful and ingenious P.W. Akkerman ink bottle
There is a ball in the neck of the bottle, which is difficult to see in the photo.  With the cap of the bottle twisted on firmly, the bottle is tilted, allowing ink to flow into the neck.  When the bottle is returned to the upright position, the ball falls to the bottom of the neck and that prevents the ink up there from going back into the base.  The cap may then be opened and a fountain pen nib can be dipped into the neck for easy pen filling.

Thank you, Celestino.  All I can say is thank goodness they didn't also sell shaving goodies or I may never have left. Big Grin

Agreed, nice additions to the collection.

I need to photograph my new pens and inks and get them posted.
