Latest Addition - Karas Kustoms Fountain K - solid brass construction so it has some weight to it.

It has a fine Schmidt nib and I am using Diamine Ancient Copper ink.

I got my Singularity on Saturday. I haven't written a ton with it yet but so far I'm pleased. It does look very sharp (cherry red) in person, and the line was nice and continuous - very nice for an EF nib.

My initial thoughts as a first time user of a fountain pen:

Installed the cartridge per the instructions. No problem. Ink began to flow nicely. Began writing with it and some leakage occurred with some nasty ink blots, but those seemed to clear up after a few minutes of writing.  You definitely do not need to apply as much pressure on it as you would a ball point pen.  I am concerned about the cartridge leaking more. Will need to keep an eye on it.

I really like balance a feel of this pen.  More weight (which I initially thought I needed) is not needed.  I'm realizing I'm in for a huge paradigm shift in my penmanship. So I'm just going to go with it.

Ordered the Fine nib.  It seems to be doing a good job and I'm happy with the size.

Below is picture of the pen and a sample of chicken scratch : )

Sometimes a water flush of the nib will help if there are flow problems.

Have been trying out the Nemosine Singularity now for about a day and must say it is a damn good pen for the price.  Mine came with 6 blue ink cartridges and i also purchased a pack in a diffrent color blue as seen below because i thought it may go good with the pen color.  The nib is on the broader side for an xf but im ok with that since it is a really smooth writer.  The weight is very light and the pen is well balanced in my hand when posted.  This pen out performs other pens i have that costed 2-4 times as much.  I can see myself adding a couple more of these in my collection.  Thanks to Freddy for turning me on to this pen.

cvandyke, I am really glad you like the Nemosine Singularity. Everything you mention about it, I agree with. I think it is a bargain for the money and I happen to like the style of the pen and the way it feels in my hand.

That color blue ink you chose really does go nicely with the pen.

I got in two more Nemosine Singularities and there both great.  The Black Marble and the Purple Demonstrator, of which i feel the black marble to be a little heavier and more solid feeling in the hand.  I put a franklin christoph music nib on the purple demonstrator to see how that would work out and the results are pretty good.  I would have to say these pens are the best value in the fountain pen world in my opnion!

cvandyke, I'm really glad you're enjoying the Nemosine Singularity pens. How do you like the J. Herbin 1670 Rouge Hematite ink? I keep hesitating about the 1670 inks, as well as the upcoming Diamine sparkling inks, because I fear a clogging issue.

Freddy i have never had any problem with the Rouge Hemititte ink at all.  I have had this bottle for a couple years and it hasent clogged anything that ive put it in.  It does require a little more maitance when cleaning but nothing major,  i just make sure to use some homemade penflush when cleaning and its fine.  One thing about the ink though is that the sheen dosent show up on really absorbant paper,  the more ink resistent it is the better the sheen you get.
