I recently bought a 1956 Gillette Super Speed Flair Tip & have found it to be inefficient & irritating to my skin. Probably because the blade angle is quite steep (i.e. the blade is relatively flat).

SharpnShiny There should be no hate some razors do not work well for some people. I did not get consistent comfortable shaves with the 1.15 WR2 and it certainly appears that the other 99% of shavers who use it, love it, but in my hands, on my face, the shaves went from very good to lip slicing.

Interesting. If I get the shot to buy a Wolfman it would be 1.15 WR2 SB. I had a WR1 Ti with standard gap that was decent but not great. Sold it off.

I remember reading about a few other people that the razor didn’t really click with them. I wanted to make work and I tried everything but my shaves were subpar, but any other razor I picked up after gave me a better shave than ever before.

Wow, that Wolfman I wanted to buy but I was worried about the blade gap, doesn’t matter I gave up trying to buy one.

Two razors I didn't enjoy at all - Gillette Old Type (I know, this is a favorite of many) and Fatip Testina Gentile. I like Fatip Grande quite a bit though. Strange!

Gillette Mach whatever it was.

Several months on the blades (refused to pay so much for new cartridges).

Never going back...

I didn't like the Fatip Gentile. Poor workmanship - a pain trying to align the blade - an obvious manufacturing defect. The shave was very inefficient. It was less than 20 bucks so no biggie. Got a gold Fatip Grande and that aligned the blade much better. Great shaves.
