WR4 also remains smooth to me as the gaps get higher. Even the 1.50 is still somewhat smooth at that higher gap for me.

I should be receiving Tara's email soon, most likely by middle of next month. I am contemplating between a Titanium or Stainless Steel WR4.

1.Would the Titanium WR4 head be too light?
2. What gap WR4 would be similar to a Titanium WR1 .74?

1. For me yes certainly too light
2. Tricky to compare different formats but maybe in the .80 to .85 range -- blade choice will matter

WR4

.70 +0.09
.80 +0.15
.90 +0.21

WR1

. 74 +0.18

I'll always pick bronze over titanium in this razor or stick to stainless.

Thanks. Bronze only concern is the patina

Stainless is the answer then

That was the advice I got from James Dufour.

How often do you need to polish your bronze WR4 due to patina?

I have a standard bronze WR3 that I haven't polished ever -- there is some patina but far less than I expected. I did have a dark bronze WR4 but this is being replaced by a stainless razor.
