Any idea how the exposure of Prolines compare? Supers are also thicker blades.

Skipped a day and loaded a Super in the .60 open comb. Better efficiency but not as smooth as the Prolines. Think I would suggest a higher gap and Prolines over a milder one and a Super overall. I'll try the same blade in the .70 SB on Monday.

I used my .86 yesterday with the Proline and it was not good. I shave every 3-5 days and all of my shaves have been brutal on the first pass. Tugging and pulling hair. It does not want to wipe the skin clean, it is leaving a good bit of stubble. I am not used to this at all. A Sailor opened at 1 full rotation will remove all of that growth in 1 pass. Subsequent passes are just to clean up places where hair grows at odd angles. 2nd passes have been very good with the WR4 tho. Feels great when there is little work to be done. I do have trouble with the extra blade width on my chin, not sure why either.

I'm to the point where I'm ready to sell the razor. I will give a Feather a try before I give up on it totally.

Use Feather Professional or Super Professionals, you'll then see why people like SE razors.

.70 SB with a Super

Efficient yes but not super comfortable. If you want high efficiency I will once again recommend high gap and mild blade. The first pass wasn't really any more comfortable than with the OC. No skipping as it removed plenty on the first pass but the next pass was definitely more comfortable. Still not Proline smooth though. For me, it's not a daily shave with the Supers but I'm fine with the efficiency of the .70 with Prolines and other blades. If you like blade feel you may love it though.

The titanium is really loud.

First outing with .70 SB last night.  Dropped in 6th use Kai Protouch MG, my go to.   James is a wizard- very intuitive angle, amazing comfort, and plenty efficient.

STRONG first impression!

Can you compare to any other AC format razors? I'm on the list but I don't know what gap to choose when my name comes up.

I personally have tried or own RR Hawk V3 (all plates), Stando Rod 2, Asylum RxV2.

Second use, this time with new Kai Captain. The unguarded blade definitely increases blade feel and efficiency, however, the geometry of this razor makes the face feel so comfortable and smooth. With this gap (.70) can go steep or shallow without concern, and the results are terrific.

Early days for sure, but so far very impressed!

For those of you who have both, how would you compare it to the Paradigm SE? What gap is similar and how do you compare the two in terms of efficiency and comfort?

Got the mail from Tara!
Wr4 with a Wrh4 hollow handle - Stainless Steel - Brushed.
I choosed the .90 gap.
Couldnt really decide between the 86 and 94 so I went with "middle".
Standard gaps are 30,40,50,60,70,80,90
