I’ve yet to find a dramatic difference between SS and titanium other than weight but haven’t tried a lot of titanium razors including Wolfman.

Matt

For me I not only like both efficiency and smoothness in a razor nowadays but because of the technique I use I need maneuverability in a razor and I find most razors that are offered in both SS and Ti like Wolfman razors provide that.
With that said I’ve never had a SE Ti razor so I’m just basing this general statement on my experience with DE razors.

I recently compared the Tatara in both steel and titanium. Yes, it’s very agile and precise but the low weight introduced some blade chatter that doesn’t feature in the original steel razor.

Not tried a Wolfman titanium so can’t say how they compare.

Blade chatter is not a good thing. I’ve never had that with any Wolfman razor in any material and I’ve probably shaved with at least a dozen or so of them. I wonder why the difference in SS and Ti in the Tatara. I’m signed in for the pass around on the new Ti so I’ll check it out.

Thanks for your help on the WR3. Much appreciated.

I think the Nodachi handle will help. I only had the regular Masamune handle and whole razor is barely 50g. It's not alot of chatter but I felt it ATG for sure. When I get it back I will experiment with adding pressure. Do you feel the need to add any with a Wolfman Ti?

I'm considering bronze or copper for a WR3 with a mild open comb - with a scalloped cap if James agrees to it

Undecided on handle choice. What do you guys recommend that balances well with the oversized head? I tried so many handles during the pass around I can't now remember which worked the best. My other razor handles are SS so I need to get this right.

I find the .60 to be very comfortable and a close shaver with little/no blade feel, used it this morning and a drama free BBS

I have a .80 SB in titanium and a .74 OC in antique bronze and I honestly like the .80 SB more. Love both but the .80 is super smooth and I just got it anodized and polished in purple and that made it even smoother! I will try to remember to post some pics this weekend.
