Are there any new options he does now that are on the price list? For example I got a scalloped cap. Tried for a doc but he wasn't having it. Just curious, thanks everyone.

This morning I tried my new Wolfman WHR2, gap 1.55, solid bar, with Darwin handle in 316L steel weighing 97 grams. I cut a one week long beard (I specify that mine is not a very thick beard) with a Kai razor blade. I had read of difficulty in inserting this blade but it is absolutely not a real thing, just a little bit of experience is enough. These expensive razors, in my opinion, can only be purchased after a long personal evolution in wet shaving otherwise the quality and feeling of the cut will not be appreciated. Shaving seemed very easy to me, the head is very effective but not aggressive; obviously it depends on which blade you use and your skin (my face prefers Kai to Feather). The WHR2 glides smoothly over the face for a smooth, effective shave without any irritation. I am very happy with this gap and I think it can be used safely for a three day long beard. For me it was a great purchase

Just wanted to share my thoughts on the DC aspect of the wolfman razor. I never personally understood the attraction of a DC dual gapped razor. I use both sides of the razor when I shave so I thought I would miss being able to do that and I also thought that I knew which gap I liked and it would not matter if I used one gap for one direction and another for the others. Oh how wrong I was. I used my Wolfman Ti 1.25OC/.95SB WR2 for the first time. First of all I think titanium is the perfect metal for a razor. I used the 1.25 OC on the WTG pass and the .95 SB for ATG and XTG. Ended up with an amazing BBS shave and zero irritation. When I use an aggressive enough razor to get BBS I usually end up with my face feeling a little raw. That was not the case with this razor. Moral of the story, get a DC. Its 2 razors in one. Highly recommended.

Hey Guys,

today my WR2 1.70 OC ti arrived . It seems the build quality is now at a good level again. The tolerances are tight and the premium Satin finish is a dream .

First shave with a Rotbart Rostfrei was awesome smooth. But the 1.70 OC is definitely no 3 pass shaver Wink

I like an aggressive razor and the Ti 1.55 is exactly that. It does a beautiful job with no irritation. I always preferred a WR1 when at the "cutting edge", until now. I may finally be done in my razor quest.

Got a 1.55/1.05. Not a huge fan of low gap wr2 but it’s nice for cleanup. Also benefit of a large gap disparity in the dual comb is it’s real easy to tell the two sides apart. Higher gaps have a much thinner bar

How long do you get to put in an order nowadays? I was hoping to be able to order the WR4 but wasn't able to delay until the May release - I would have to sign up again and wait.

Premium finishes have always been held to a higher standard in my experience. Basic finishes not so much.

You have to submit an order within 30 days once you are off the waitlist. I was also submitting my order for WR4 yesterday, but Tara told me it might not be ready within 30 days. I ended up canceling the order bcz the wait time is 1-2 months.

I have a WR2 Ti 1.25 SB. As a daily shaver I can't sustain using it more than 2 or 3 shaves before my face needs a few days rest from razor burn. I'm on the list and should hear from Tara within the next month or so and thinking of getting the 1.05 oc or the 1.15 SB. Currently using a Timeless Ti 0.95 oc which works well for me. Just wanting to see if I can squeeze a little more efficiency and smoothness, without the razor burn.

As a side, I found the Timeless 0.68 oc better for me than the Timeless 0.95 sb and the Timeless 0.95 oc better for me than the Timeless 0.68 oc. That's why I'm weighing the 1.05 WR2 WM oc against the 1.15 WR2 WM sb.

Anybody have experience with this dilemma?

I wasn't offered the option of waiting, only rejoining the list. Did Tara give any details at all about the new razor? Thanks.

Received the email about 10 days ago. Just deciding if I cancel or put in an order for something else.
