it seems to me that the WR2 gap does not go beyond 1.55

I have a SS1.65 and a Bronze 1.75, both in premium polish. Last we chatted, via Tara, James was willing to make a 1.85mm. I just didn't order it.

It is arguably the most ergonomic. The grip is positive and there is never a question of where it is. It has presence and maneuverability. It is also quite dainty at the primary grip. For whatever reason tho, head heavy razors aren't my favorites.

I gravitate to 93-100 mm handles and larger dia. The vast majority of my DuFour handles are based on XLs of some form or another. Hollow XLs work and balance very well in my hands.

The mirror polish glides better. The cost is worth it to me. I don't really care for a Darwin in a WR2. It is more head heavy compared to WR1.

I am also an infrequent shaver. I have used all of the more efficient gaps in both heads. The WR2 is smoother than a WR1, in general.

On my face, an 86 is essentially a 125. The 94 is like a 135. The WR2 head is still smooth at 1.75mm, the highest I have.

With all that said, if i did 3 or 4 passes, i"d go at least 1.45. If i want to knock it all down with 1 hybrid pass, i'd get a 1.75.

Yes sir. If I shave once a week I am doing good. I almost always do 2.5 passes tho. No matter the gap.

Me? No confusion, just shocked at the 1.85 blade gap. Might as well not even have a safety bar at that point haha.

I have handle question. I want to buy hybrid WRH3/7 for my WR2, but I don't know which one have ideal balance (rough surface is not so long) - hollow or solid, standard 90mm or extended 96mm. Help me please.
