Tara told me today that James has no plans “at this time” to make razors in exotic materials……….bummer!

I've got a Wolfman WR2 1.15, which I really love, and was wondering what people might recommend that could be similar to it in another make. I have also used a WR1 .80 and .61. The .61 is really mild, but maybe not as efficient as I'd like. The .80 is great, but maybe a tad more blade-feel. I was debating a H&S N075, a Blackland, or a Carbon razor, but wanted to seek the wisdom of the crowd.

So is Titanium considered exotic materials?

I'd give the Blackland Blackbird my highest recommendation.

I would wholeheartedly second -the Blackland Blackbird. If you like lighter weight - Blackbird Ti.

That is indeed a bummer....theres something about Wolfman high gaps in Ti that is so well balanced.
And Im not just talking weight, but also how the material tempers aggression and accentuates smoothness.

Only stainless is what she said. Please feel free to ask for yourself.

I have a Wolfman with a WR1 head. Love it. But, like others have said, the Blackbird is equally good. So is the Timeless SS with a .95 gap or the .63 gap, open comb or solid bar. If I had to choose between the Timeless SS 0.95 or the Blackbird or the Wolfie, I'd be hard pressed to decide.

I HOPE you get a difference answer!!!! And I can see how my answer had a tone of sarcasm to it but I didn’t mean it that way!

I definitely wish they would reconsider!!!!
