Looking forward to your review of the 1.05. Will you be also able to compare to the 1.15?

I have to honestly say that since I have acquired my first Wolfman years ago...each and every one has been impeccable and the sense of satisfaction I get when shaving with them has never dissipated after all these years. These are pieces that I love to use and own. And the fact that I’m just as excited to use them today as I’ve ever been really says something.
That post begs for a den lineup photo. There must be multiples. I must see, if you please sir.

Much more modest than most by a long shot believe me. Only 4. And that’s with passing up on the open window twice in the last year or so, and plenty that have been swiped from my fingertips with the subsequent gut punch feeling. I’ve endured the long painful process we can all attest to which is one of the reasons why I appreciate them so much. I don’t have a den per se. Only one razor out at a time and when it’s time for a blade change I’ll decide if it stays out or gets cleaned and replaced with something else. So needless to say nothing I can take a quick pic of as everything is always packed and away. If they are ever out all together I’ll try and remember to snap a pic.

The last of the ti drop went out yesterday or day before. Should be any day now

First go around with the 1.05 DC today. The great thing about threads like these is that the info provided takes a little guesswork out of a big purchase. I felt the 1.05 offered up some blade feel and was glad I opted for this gap as initial reports pegged the .95 as efficient but mild with hardly any blade feel. If I had to guess from just one use I’d say that in regards to blade feel I’d put the 1.05 roughly where the .61 WR1 feels. Maybe a hair more but pretty close. In the efficiency department I’d say the 1.05 is between the .67 and .74 WR1. Just an initial report there but for me a pretty accurate depiction. The WR2 is a different beast obviously from the WR1 so no such thing as an apples to apples comparison. Safety bar side was smoother than the OC but not by much. Zero issues under the nose as everything cleared out easily on the first stroke with no stragglers. The one trouble spot on my neck cleared out easily on the first pass. This was a great gap choice for me because it got me all the way home with two passes and no touch up which is the only thing something has to do if it stays with me. I have no doubt the 1.15 would be great as well but for my growth no need to go higher than that. Overall a little less nimble of a head compared to the WR1 that makes up for it with no loss or even increase in efficiency compared to my other Wolfman heads but with a nice increase in smoothness. Hope this helps those looking to narrow there choices when the time comes.

I had a wonderful first shave with the Ti 1.15DC WR2 this week.  First shave was definitely a wow moment.  I found the light weight to be quite pleasant, made the razor feel more like an extension of my hand than a heavy tool. And the smoothness/efficiency balance is outstanding. First shaves can sometimes be overstated due to the honeymoon effect, so I look forward to using the razor exclusively for a while, but I can see how it could dethrone some high end gear in the den.

Glock that's a great looking Wolfman, congrats. It doesn't sound like that it will be the last although, I think you have the best gap in that head. How did the SB/OC sides compare?

Thanks Shavemd and LOOT, I feel very fortunate to have such an amazing tool. I need some more reps to get a better feel for the difference between the two sides, but that SB side sure was smooth!
