I don’t have a 1.55 and congrats on getting to use one but I’m pretty sure that there’s not a razor on that list that can hang with my 1.35 let alone a 1.55.. I can send you my Ikon Tech which was pretty much considered by most as the efficiency king for a long time but I’m not sure even that could hang with the 1.55. Just me speculating but hey man have fun with it.

If you wish I can definitely try to compare the two. Depends on how long I am allowed to have this razor on loaned for. As for efficiency vs the rest of my den then you and tester are correct nothing is close. Interesting review to follow Smile

OP...How does the 1.15SB compare to the RS in terms of smoothness? The 155 vs RS in smoothness is the only real question. I've not used an RS, and won't, but I hear it's smooth. If you can answer the 115SB v RS question, I can form my own opinion vs the 155.

I don't think you will need to do any efficiency comparisons if you use the 155 by itself just once. I don't think you need the iKon Tech either, but I'm assuming your face is fairly close to mine. If you could run them both it would be fun but the IT won't touch the 155 in any measure...nor the 145...and probably not the 135 as best I recall.

Use the 155 by itself, as suggested by Tester and gives us a report. I think you will be shocked.

I'm interested in your thoughts on your WR2 1.15 SB against the WR2 1.55 SB.

I had just finished up writing my review but apparently the post was too large and lost all my work.

I will to another write-up tomorrow hopefully every bit as thorough and spaced the post out so I will not run into this issue again. I didn't realize there is a size limit to what a post can contain. Wish I knew that so I could of copied and pasted my notes out before I received the error.

I’ve done that a couple of times writing up lengthy Shave Offs/reviews and that can be discouraging so I’ve learned to write them up using Word and then just copy and paste. I don’t do that on short posts obviously.

What’s the first pairing I’m curious?

I actually used the RS-10, Rex, and Rocnel in the first go through. I do a patch test for picture purposes but only had pictures of the Rex. I would of taken more but it was a hassle as my 8k camera is being loaned out to a friend for a month for a local movie festival / competition.

Living on the edge
it's good to know that the top cap for the 1.15DC fits on the 1.55 baseplate.
I remember reading a comment from someone saying that these things didn't exactly match up when switched
around.

Fits perfectly for me. I'll try to get some photo's later for all to see vs taking my word for it.
