.80 and .86 are too much for me.  I have the razor sitting there like a trophy and rarely use it.

.74 or less and my daily drivers are the .68 Carbon Ti and Blackbird Ti… however I’ve grown sweet on the Tatara Nodachi Ti - so I like blade feel.

Just my opinion.

I get along well with the WR1 in .74, .80, .86, .94. My next head will be a .67 bronze WR1. I've discovered I prefer a bronze head to SS or Ti. Never noticed that 'face feel' people talked about until I got my .80 OC in bronze.

I am not going to go down a tricky path, but if blade exposure was given you could make a more informed decision. In other words, it’s subjective to all of us and having so many gaps gives him a chance to sell the same people more and more razors until the buyer can find the one.

As noted in earlier posts ... he began designing his razors based on Gillette gaps. If you have a Gillette adjustable and go by the Above the Tie blade gap comparison chart you should be able to come close right from jump street. https://www.abovethetie.com/pages/blade-...mparison-1

Sorry - I don’t agree.  This isn’t just about just gap, it is about blade exposure and head geometry.

My WRH7 handle is much darker than the titanium WR1 I just received.

That make a person wonder just why?
Matt maybe I missed the answer, did you find anything out ?

No definitive answers yet. While you can change the colour with extreme heat it's less clear if titanium left alone will darken in time. Will try and post pictures later - it is hard to show the true colour of the older handle but it's like the space grey on the back of my phone.

I guess finishing makes a difference. The new titanium is way more polished and the older is a matte brushed finish. Titanium Tatara and machined BB are a darker hue than SS but neither are polished. Basic brushed titanium looks to be darker in pictures.

This shows the actual colour of my handle better than my photos - and was probably made around about the same time. Shame I don't have the matching head. It's a deep grey compared to SS/new titanium.

Hmm it sure does show differently. Wonder what James might say over at Wolfman Razors?

I've only got the basic polish of SS and Titanium. I can't really tell the difference in the handles color, with the hollow SS weight is very close too.

I have slow beard growth and shave every 3,maximum 4 day.
I want to buy my first Wolfman Wr1, Wr2, or Wr4?
What blade gap to choose?
My current razor is Rockwell #5 or #4. Merkur 34c. Ti-Taiga.
