I have a stainless steel WR2 1.55SB and use it daily. Any suggestion? Does the titanium WR1 make it a better razor than the SS ? Some members here write that the titanium Blackbird is better than the SS version. Is this valid for the WR1 Wolfman?

If you use a 1.55 daily you will have no problems with the 0.94 WR1...it's a fabulous gap, and in Ti it would be just amazing.
Im not much of an OC guy so I would vote 0.94 SB.

I would echo what Max said about the 'buttery' feel of the Ti Wolfman compared to the SS. I had seen Tester say the same thing IIRC, but couldn't really imagine there'd be a difference until I got my Ti WR2 1.35 SB. I couldn't be happier with that razor, in basic brushed finish, very like the Satin finish SS.

I have a WR1 DC .94 both sides SB/DC. It's quite good but TBH on my face I have to be careful or it is a bit harsh. YMMV.

Thank you very much. Is there any particular advantage of the polished Wolfman titanium over the brushed one? Better glide, easier to fix minor scratches?

In the 94, I actually prefer mine in SS. The weight helps. I cold water shave, so I enjoy SS's ability to get cold.

I have several Ti WR2's and love them. I have polished and brushed. The polished definitely glides better. Debatable how much it helps. I like shiny and always take the mirror finish when I can but you can look at it wrong and smudge it. The brush Ti can be dirty and you really can't tell it. I try not to scratch my stuff but I would imagine the brushed would hide minor imperfections.

Hope some of this helps.

There are pictures of titanium, copper and dark bronze razors around but I've not seen many of the bronze razors in the basic polish. Has anyone ordered one recently? This is all I have direct from James/Tara.

By the way the WRH4 handle is now a standard item - available in 83.4mm, 92.5mm and 101.6mm lengths.

I should have a WRH4 in hand in the next few days. It’s been my “Grail” handle and razor (Ti)

Basic titanium order from last month left vs old mirror polish right.   Great finish.  Hard to tell from photos but there are slight tooling marks visible vs none on the mirror polish.

Antique/Dark Bronze WR1 .80 OC, WRH2, Darwin, and WRA2 Stand. I love the finish on this, it’s exactly what I was hoping for. WRA2 Stand is icing on the cake for me. I’ll try and get some better pics of it tomorrow in better lighting.
